A kirby CMS slider plugin released
Pleased to announce the latest development of a slider plugin for KirbyCMS
This Plugin manages sliders for web pages and is freely available for KirbyCMS.
I have been building Kirby sites for a couple of years now. KirbyCMS is fast stable and low maintenance. It offers a very efficient architecture. A good example of a no-DB site.
The plugin wraps an excellent slider library called Swiper.js. We stripped it back to basic transitions and made the codebase 30% smaller.
It's one of many plugins in the pipeline as we develop first class tools for clients.
Hot off the heels of this plugin is my next plugin ianhobbs/cloudfllare-tools.
This will manage cloudflare caching which is critical in the codey server infrastructure. Cloudflare caching is a DNS layer cache.
It stores versions of your site and site components in it's directory. So when pages are called it will provide DNS layer files before passing the request to the server. This is a crucial layer of greening our services. So to get it working well sometimes we need to clear out old files, Just like on your browser cache.
